We're already working with brands like Perplexity, who are using Shopify Catalog to bring products from Shopify merchants to consumers shopping on their platform. Merchants that meet the eligibility criteria will automatically be included in the Global Catalog.
Shopify Knowledge Base App: This new app gives you both insight and influence over how your brand is represented in AI shopping chats. Knowledge Base automatically generates AI-readable FAQs based on your store's policies and settings to answer shopper questions—like when a shopper using AI asks about your return policy before buying a product they’re eyeing. You can customize those answers, and add FAQs of your own. You'll also see what real shoppers are asking about your brand, giving you valuable insights you can use to refine your messaging. Storefront MCP: Imagine bringing that same natural-language shopping experience directly to your own store!
